Getting Started

Pet Tested Human Approved

Getting started:

Setting up your portable Pack ‘N Piddle is quick and easy. With a pair of scissors, (without causing any damage to the product) carefully remove your Pack ‘N Piddle from its clear shipping bag.

Then, just slip your Pack ‘N Piddle from its handy travel bag, open your Pack ‘N Piddle and extend the bi-fold floor for rigidity.

Place it in an area that is convenient for both you and your pet, such as a bathroom, laundry room or mud room, etc.

Begin by placing a used, soiled potty pad in your Pack ‘N Piddle, so your pet will smell their scent. Allow them to go inside on their own to sniff their new potty space. The less attention the better.

Once your pet has caught on, praising them as well as rewarding your pet with a treat will encourage them to revisit. Keeping your Pack ‘N Piddle fresh and from becoming overly soiled will only add to your pets success in using their new indoor pet potty.

For best results, place 3 potty pads in your Pack ‘N Piddle. Typically you will only replace the top pad, the other 2 pads are there for added protection.

Training tips:

If you are introducing a new puppy to use the Pack ‘N Piddle we at SillyDawg recommend leaving the door closed during training, frequently placing your pet inside, as puppies go more often. Placing a soiled potty pad in their Pack ‘N Piddle will reassure your pet that they are going in the right place. If your pet has an accident and poos on the floor, placing their “accident” on the potty pad inside the Pack ‘N Piddle for an hour or two may help your pet to identify the purpose of their new indoor pet potty space.

Consistency, patience and praise go a long way here.

We do NOT recommend leaving your pet unsupervised during training (this is not a crate). This may cause your pet to become confused or bored and think their new indoor pet potty is a chew toy. Once your pet has figured out how to use their indoor pet potty space, the pet door can be flipped underneath and left open for them to visit as often as needed.

It is a good idea, if you live in a two story home to have a Pack ‘N Piddle upstairs and downstairs.

Cleaning your Pack ‘N Piddle

We recommend cleaning your Pack ‘N Piddle once or twice a week, like you would your own potty. Dawn dish detergent works great! With a bucket of warm soapy water, thoroughly wipe your Pack ‘N Piddle clean, towel drying and your pet is ready to do business!

We’ve made traveling with your small friend easy, convenient and trendy!
