Millions of Americans are waking up to temperatures that are 20, 30 even 40 degrees below normal as an Arctic Blast is sweeping across the central and western states and is eventually expected to push into the south and east.

Denver and Minneapolis hit single digit temperatures overnight and snow is expected to follow right behind the cold, even Las Vegas is expecting a couple inches on New Years Eve. If you live in the area of the Great Lakes, you’re expected to get two feet of lake effect snow.
