The Litter Box Isn’t Just For Cats Anymore!

Yes! You can litter box train your dog!
Check out the Pack ‘N Piddle.

When most of us hear the words “litter box,” we automatically think of cats, but, surprisingly enough, millions of people litter train their small dogs!

Why? Well, there are a number of reasons: Perhaps they live in a high rise or an apartment building; can’t get them to the door fast enough; live in a cold climate where weather makes it difficult to get out; or maybe they work long hours and can’t be there when nature calls. For whatever reason, many pet owners with small dogs find a doggie litter box to be quite beneficial!

An indoor litter box is certainly no substitution for taking your pet outdoors, but if you’re unable to, this is a great option for relieving your pets needs when going outdoors isn’t an option. Smaller dogs have smaller bladders and need to go out more frequently; when this isn’t possible, bacteria builds up in the bladder causing those dreaded U.T.I’s. A nicer way of saying an expensive vet bill, some antibiotics, and discomfort for your pet, as well as maybe an accident or two on your favorite rug and a phone call to your local carpet cleaner to boot.

Teaching your pet to use an indoor litter box, also referred to as an indoor pet potty, can be beneficial for you and your pet. There are many on the market but not all are truly portable.

Some dogs are known for eating clump litter, leading to potential health issues that could result in additional vet bills. Potty pads are the most popular option when training your small dog to use a litter box.

The Pack ‘N Piddle is a portable indoor pet potty that accommodates potty pads. It’s collapsible, light-weight and constructed of a waterproof material, keeping your floors dry and clean. The Pack ‘N Piddle collapses to just an inch thick and comes with a convenient carry tote. Use it everyday, as well as for travel . Your pet will appreciate having its own “private” potty, and you will appreciate fewer vet bills when traveling!
